The challenge
Despite global progress, billions of people still lack access to essential health services—blocked by fragile health systems, workforce shortages, and long distances to care. In underserved communities, even basic health needs often go unmet.
Community Health Workers are the backbone of care in these areas. But to be effective, they need smarter tools—platforms that help detect health risks early and connect vulnerable individuals to remote facilities for urgent, often life-saving care.
Yet sustainability remains a major challenge—especially in digital health. Too many programmes fail due to limited funding, lack of local capacity, and poor integration with national systems. We’re changing that.
Our current focus is in Sub-Saharan Africa, but our mission is global.
Bringing market-leading technology to undeserved communities
But for billions of people in underserved communities around the world, current health systems aren’t working. Smarter solutions exist—but market-leading technology rarely reaches the people who need it most.
Spirit Health Foundation was founded in late 2023 as an independent non-profit to change this—for good.
What makes us different?
We provide unlimited, fully funded licenses for Clinitouch—a proven smart health platform used across the NHS and in more than 20 countries. In partnership with like-minded organisations, Ministries of Health, and community-based groups, we help implement simpler, smarter healthcare services where they’re needed most.
We mobilise catalytic funding to launch every programme—equipping community health workers and local facilities with Clinitouch to screen and monitor people in their homes, even in the hardest-to-reach areas. The system flags ‘at risk’ adults and children in real time, enabling early referral for vital, often life-saving care.
Clinitouch detects early risks, not just symptoms—connecting communities to care quickly. It’s fully customisable to any condition, language, or clinical protocol.
By providing unlimited licenses, integrating with national health systems, and building local capacity, we ensure every programme is designed not just to launch—but to last.
We’re seeking partners to enable millions to get essential care
Our initial goal is reach 30 million people with essential healthcare by 2030—focusing on women and children.
With the right funding and implementing partners, we will reach at least 5 million people across six countries—delivering essential care and helping prevent avoidable deaths.
Each programme begins with a two-year catalytic phase, followed by a sustainable model where local partners take the lead—ensuring all funding drives long-term, lasting change.
Thanks to our highly efficient approach, we can screen, monitor, and refer someone for vital care for as little as 7 pence per person over five years.
